When my son and his girlfriend decided to move in together, she went to tell her parents, and one of the questions her mother asked her in reference to her daughter's relationship with my son was "Does he make you a better person?" What a brilliant question.
Johnny makes me a better person. He makes me struggle with some of my demons and come to grips with them. He also helps me fight them. The other night he thanked me for loving him and creating a family like none he had ever experienced. I am grateful he came into my life and love that I can support him.
The point is, you CAN be loved like this. You can also have hot hot sex. You DESERVE to be happy and content.
I wish for any of you who are going through hard times that don't seem to be getting better, and are scared of the road ahead, that you find the strength to believe in yourself and your needs.
